“Dab on this” is his second single, which was mixed and mastered by Sick beats.

Mmanya completely appeals to your native intelligence. Mmanya an Igbo word which means ‘drinks’ in English language, captures an ecstatic feeling of love and nostalgia as Rexx toasts to a special lady.

Rexx has held on to your ears since Pincode when he was in a duo with the same name. He dazzled you when he graced Jesse Jagz’ Highlife with his exotic soulful and local sound. You grooved to Sistah (ft. Solidstar and Orezi) amidst other singles.

Mmanya is refreshing with a melody that keeps playing in your head.

If you think you have heard a lot Of songs about Lagos, Tolu Meduna will tell you that you have not heard the best until you listen to hers.

That is Eko Lagos, a single she recently released as the first fruit of a musical journey that she started in 1999.

The lady who was at a time a member of Lagos-based coliseum band is one of the emerging artistes who believe that is still a lot to do with Afro. She fuses the genre with ‘soul’; hence, she calls her brand Afro Soul.

“There is a way Afro beat communicates with your mind and body as an African. We are Africans, you know. That is why my music encompasses afro. But it is Afro plus soul. I sing from my heart. My religion is love but my art is also motivational, and it also communicates family love and God’s love to humanity.”
